Today, I feel happy. Despite being sick all week, with too little sleep and too much work, it is finally Friday -- which really has no meaning in regards to relaxing, except I don't have classes for three days.
I'm thinking about what I want in my future. I want a lot, but I don't see why I can't accomplish all of my goals.

Baby, I was Born This Way.
Was I born this way? Not necessarily entirely, but I have confidence that I was born with some element that has allowed me to choose who I become rather than being so molded by others. At the same time, it is because of my relationships with other people (sometimes good, sometimes less than good) that have helped me realize at least in part who I want to become. I'm not there yet, and with the element that I want to constantly be growing and changing and open to new experiences/ideas/beliefs, I'm not sure I ever will be "there" (as if it were a place...).
As to the content of this blog, I'm sure it will not remain organized like I might like it to, and maybe that's an okay thing, too. I have a lot of interests that I will likely write about, including:
1. Reproductive Justice (not sure what this is? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reproductive_justice ; also, www.lsrj.org).
Topics include but are not limited to:
a. Parenting Rights
b. Breastfeeding
c. Access to family planning services
2. Photography
3. Law
a. Family Law
b. Tax Law
c. Clinic experiences/observations
4. International Travel
5. Language
6. Gay Rights
Please comment with honesty and respect, and please keep this a safe space.
